Augmented Reality (AR) is the integration of digital information technology and methods that allows users to experience real-world objects and environments with 3D generated perceptual information overlaid on top of it in real-time. The AR technology developed by Strax Networks and their platform, StraxAR, will connect guests of Emagine to exclusive engaging digital experiences including promotions, games, videos, trailers, music, special messaging, and private offers from select sponsors via Screenvision Media.

To engage with these experiences, guests of Emagine will download the StraxAR app, available for both iOS and Android devices.  This unique technology allows movie theater items, like soda and popcorn tubs, to come alive for this experience.  When a guest opens the StraxAR app and points it at various logos on a soda cup or popcorn tub, or other designated elements, a specific AR experience is triggered creating a unique and engaging digital guest interaction.

(TROY, MI – July 7, 2022) Emagine Entertainment, Inc., one of the nation’s leading innovators in motion picture exhibition, has completed phase one of renovations to their Emagine Noblesville theater which includes a brand new EMAX auditorium for premium large format films. The new EMAX auditorium opens this Friday, July 8^th and will show Thor: Love and Thunder. Emagine Noblesville, formerly the Hamilton 16 IMAX® GDX, opened in July of 2021 and has undergone major renovations since January of 2022. Emagine Noblesville is located at 13825 Norell Rd, in Noblesville, Indiana.

Emagine Noblesville a 70,000-square foot theatre, has just finished phase one of their two-phase renovation plan. The two-phase plan aims to renovate all 16 auditoriums, add two screening rooms to the mezzanine level and update the lounge, concession and bar areas. The renovations will showcase the Emagine brand with upscale decore throughout and plush, power-heated recliners in each auditorium.

Phase One included renovations to eight auditoriums including a brand new EMAX auditorium which now holds 235 seats including 12 Cuddle Chairs. In addition to the luxury heated recliners that have been upgraded in all eight newly renovated autidoriums, the EMAX has a massive 70 x 30 foot screen with a laser projection system that provides enhanced color and crisp images and a Dolby ATMOS sound system which provides up to 64 channels of immersive sound.  The new EMAX auditorium opens Friday, July 8^th and will show Thor: Love and Thunder.

Phase Two is currently underway with a projected fouth quarter completion date and will include renovations to the remaining eight auditoriums, the main lobby area, which will include an enhanced consession stand that will offer brick oven fresh-made pizza, a relocated and improved full-service bar, and an upscale lounge area.

The theater remains operational throughout the renovations, allowing for construction to happen in sections so guests are still able to experience the films they love.

Emagine Noblesville is one of four Goodrich Quality Theaters that were aquired by Emagine. With an estimated 22 million dollar budget to cover renovations for all of the four locations, guests will soon be able to enjoy the full Emagine experience once construction is complete.

Even though our hands were forced in the layoffs, we continued to pay health insurance for anyone who was laid off, covering the entirely of their benefits while they were laid off.

Emagine Eagan Grand Opening in Fall 2019

(TROY, MI – May 2, 2019) Emagine Entertainment, Inc., an innovator in luxury theatres, is thrilled to announce their ninth Minnesota theatre location, Emagine Eagan, with the purchase of Regal Cinemas Eagan 16 on May 1^st, 2019. The 72,000 square foot theatre will feature ultra-luxurious amenities throughout, including Minnesota Axe (MN Axe), a fun new indoor competitive sport of axe throwing, and will re-open to the public in Fall 2019 as Emagine Eagan. Amenities at Emagine Eagan include 1200 seats in 14 beautiful state-of-the art auditoriums, and two EMAX premium large format screens as well as a Screening Room where patrons can control the remote to pause or stop the movie while also controlling options like the volume or lights with additional space to host a party. The EMAX auditoriums will feature a floor-to-ceiling screen with high frame rate capability and a spectacular Dolby Atmos® immersive sound system and laser projection. Upon entering the theatre, guests will enjoy upscale decor throughout, a full-service bar with hand-crafted cocktails, wine and beer, a classy lounge area and an enhanced concession menu. In the auditoriums, guests will enjoy plush, heated reclining chairs separated by 7 feet of row spacing. In addition, Minnesota Axe (MN Axe) will have 6 areas (12 lanes) for axe throwing.

Minnesota Axe (MN Axe) is an axe throwing venue that debuted inside of their Emagine Monticello location and will add an additional location in Emagine Eagan. MN Axe is the first NATF (National Axe Throwing Federation) in Minnesota. Axe throwing is an individual sport played with and against other members of a group. Individuals throw 1.5-pound hatchets at wooden targets marked with a bullseye and score points based on where on the target they stick the axe.
